Nigel Martin is Director, Commercial Vehicle Rental Sales with responsibility for the strategic development of the commercial vehicle rental product line, including lifecycle asset management. Nigel is in charge of all location-based rental operations and the regional sales teams report to him.

Nigel has been with Ryder for 18 years joining as a Rental Representative and has held a number of senior management positions including Financial Controller Midlands, Regional General Manager and Director for the Central Region before being appointed to his current position in January 2006. Nigel manages the entire Ryder rental fleet, a diverse range of vehicles fitted with dropsides, curtainside, box, tail-lift and refrigerated bodies ranging in size from 3.5t vans to 18 ton trucks.

Nigel is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and holds a Diploma in Management from the Open University and an Institute of Management Diploma.
