As a result of a successful five year period operating in the Pall-Ex network, Thamebased
Interoute Transport Services has renewed its contract hire agreement with
Ryder for the provision of five 7.5 ton and 18 ton rigids that are dedicated to the Pall-Ex
operation. The trucks are used exclusively on Pall-Ex’s pallet distribution network
across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
“Pall-Ex was a new venture for Interoute, therefore going the contract hire route
provided us with a more flexible option,” comments David Martin, Interoute’s
operation’s director.
“We chose Ryder again because it provided the most cost effective solution, together
with the advantage of on-site maintenance. So when the five vehicle contract came up
for renewal it was logical to continue with Ryder because of the great value it provides.”
